ROWAN CLASS (YEAR 4/5)
Welcome to Rowan class (Year 4 and Year 5).
I am so pleased to be your class teacher for the year ahead and I am looking forward to my first year as part of the amazing community at Bollinbrook C of E school.
This year promises to be an exciting and rewarding journey for Rowan class.
In English, we will explore a range of high-quality texts, developing their reading comprehension, writing stamina and vocabulary. In Maths we will focus on strengthening fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Our year 4s will have a particular focus on their times tables knowledge with the multiplication test coming up towards the end of the academic year. Our wider curriculum will provide opportunities to investigate and explore fascinating topics, encouraging curiosity and creativity throughout the year.
P.E – Tuesday and Friday
Forest School - Tuesday
Homework is sent home every Friday to be returned the following Thursday. All children are expected to read every day, and practise their times tables along with completing the Maths, English and Spellings throughout the week.
