Bollinbrook Garden Club

The Bollinbrook Garden Club was established in September of 2016 to bring the school and parent community together for the benefit of the children. Gardening provides opportunities for increasing scientific knowledge and understanding, as well as improving literacy, numeracy and oracy.  The Royal Horticultural Society [RHS] has recognised that there are 3 R’s of school gardening that benefit children’s overall learning;

Ready to Learn | Resilient | Responsible

If you are interested in knowing more or getting involved (even if it is once a year) please visit the clubs facebook page (Bollinbrook Garden Club) or contact the school directly.

You can also get in touch with one of our volunteer parents, either Julie Hatt or Joanne Kendrick, who you will see pottering about in the KS1 garden on occassion.

What's being said?

Sport at Bollinbrook has really helped my child to flourish. She's grown in confidence and learned so much about teamwork and leadership skills. The school is great at encouraging children to take part and brings out the best in everyone.
